Create a unique valentine using rich “painterly” thin copper or brass sheet which has been previously "heat-painted” with torch, flux and silver by the instructor, Sharon Novak.
Cut out your valentine, and let your imagination go! Add words using letter stamps or “cold-connect” several hearts together with wire. Add hammered texture to a flat surface or bend and form the metal dimensionally. Fringe, ruffle, or sew twisted wire to the edges! Learn to twist, coil and spiral wires which may be used as decorative accents or to attach colorful glass beads.
Date: Wednesday, February 6th from 6 - 9pm
Cost: $42 Bravo member / $48 non-member + $14 Materials fee
Location: Bravo School of Art at 2690 Historic Decatur Rd, Studio 206 San Diego, CA 92106. Google Map.
