The Museum recently acquired San Diego by Pedro de Mena using funds from the recent bequest of Donald. W. Shira and a generous gift from Anne Otterson.
Dr. John Marciari, Curator of European Art, will discuss the story behind this recent acquisition while shedding light on the sculptor Pedro de Mena and on San Diego, the saint for whom our city is named.
