Know what a “noob” is and how he can be “pwnt” by an “ill” guy? Want to find out? Slangmeister Grant Barrett will give you the beta how new slang words become part of the language in the Turrentine room of the Escondido Public Library.
As editor of The Official Dictionary of Unofficial English and co-host of the radio program “A Way with Words,” Barrett is no noob to slang and will use his expertise to explanificate how slang develops and infiltrates the language.
