Forget the brush and let’s slap some paint on a canvas. A palette knife can be used for much more than mixing paint. Recreate an image, impasto style, as you learn the basics of palette knife painting with acrylic paint. Explore the simplicity of laying blocks of solid color and building the details using bold strokes.
This is a very fun and expressive painting style. Please bring an image that you would like to recreate. Ideal for beginners as well as advanced painting students.
Acrylic paint, palette knife, mixing plate and a 16” x 20” painting panel will be provided. Feel free to bring a bottle of wine to enjoy. Snacks will be provided.
