Newly named as Mingei Artists-in-Residence, Camarada begins this new venture on Sunday, February 17th with Tango Nuevo (best of Piazzolla) in the beautiful and culturally rich setting of the Mingei International Museum.

The Mingei will open it’s doors at 5:00 pm for docent tours and a special viewing of MAKE YOUR OWN KIND OF MUSIC - The Art of Musical Instruments. San Diego’s Scott Paulsen will demonstrate the thrilling theramin and even let you try your hand at the instrument!
The concert will be introduced at 6:00 pm by Mingei Director Rob Sidner in the Rotunda of the museum. The performance will last slightly under 2 hours with time for mingling at intermission.
