The Adult Puppet Cabaret offers fearless puppet performances for a fearless audience at the Museum of Photographic Arts in Balboa Park on February 22nd from 7-10pm.
This unique event features Heather Henson’s Handmade Puppet Dreams Vol.4 which will be screened in the MoPA’s beautiful on site movie theater along with two additional award winning puppet short films, Yamasong and The Narrative of Victor Karloch.
Filmmaker and Handmade Puppet Dreams representative Sam Koji Hale will present his own film Yamasong, recipient of Best Animated Fantasy Short and Best Animated Film at the 2010 Dragon*Con Independent Film Festival.
Handmade Puppet Dreams is a touring festival of independent artist films exploring their handmade craft specifically for the camera. These films have allowed artists to build their vision, then breathe life into their dreams.
