The Annual LJCSC Polar Bear Plunge and Chili Potluck (the 1st Club social event of the new year) is planned for January 1st, 2013 at 10am on the lawn of La Jolla Shores (look for the banner).
Some come to swim and others just to dip their big toe in the big blue (without turning...blue) but all come to share in the joy of the New Year and the warmth of good friends and great potluck food (Cider/Coffee provided)
Please bring your favorite chili (suggested) and/or warm food to compliment it. Warm clothes/hat/footwear, and definitely a camera
Club mdse aka warm fleece jackets and hats will be on hand for purchase; our beautiful 2012 LJ pictorial calendar will be available for $10!
NOTE: Know your limits...health comes first!
