It’s that time of year again…time for "Taste of Opera!" At the University Club a special evening is in store as Dr. Nick Reveles, The Geisel Director of Education and Outreach, introduces us to a young artist, Rich Black, whose latest works are inspired by opera. We’ll focus on his creative process and exactly what it is he must do in order to communicate the stories and the emotions of these works that we love so much. At the end of the dinner, Dr. Nick will briefly explore the musical delights of "The Daughter of the Regiment" and how comedy can be communicated through music.
