Visit the Bowers Museum in Santa Ana for two featured exhibitions, "Read My Pins: The Madeleine Albright Collection" and "Cut! Costume and the Cinema".
The Albright collection consists of pins that Secretary Albright, America's Ambassador to the United Nations, and the first woman U.S. Secretary of State, wore before, during, and after becoming a diplomat. Albright discovered the power of jewelry to convey a foreign policy message and the brooches soon became her diplomatic signature; their stories and messages reflecting her sense of humor and humanity.
The costume exhibition presents 43 ensembles worn in 25 different films, including the Jack Sparrow costume worn by Johnny Depp in "Pirates of the Caribbean."
