THIS EVENT IS IN THE PAST!

10th Annual Mormon Battalion Commemoration Parade & Community Event

On January 26th from 10am-3pm, Children and adults, alike, are invited as Old Town commemorates the anniversary of the Mormon Battalion’s arrival and historic contributions to San Diego. Thousands have found this to be a wonderful “living history” experience for the whole family.

Come join us for FREE, fun-filled, authentic period activities and events. This year's activities include doll making, quilting, rope making, brick making, biscuit cooking on a stick, a photo booth, historic displays, children’s crafts, and other period demonstrations, including cannon and musket firings.

Authentic songs, stories and music will entertain throughout the day. Also, don't forget to head over to the Mormon Battalion Historic Site at 2510 Juan St. (Google Map) for gold panning!

Location: Old Town San Diego State Historic Park, 4002 Wallace St. San Diego, CA 92110 Google Map
