Cecil Lytle, world-renowned pianist and UC San Diego professor emeritus of music, is set to perform the powerful chords of Beethoven to benefit the endowed Lytle Scholarship on January 27th, 2013 from 3-5pm.

Lytle has performed around the world, and maintains a diverse repertoire of styles—from jazz to 19th and 20th century classical piano music.

All of the proceeds from this classical musical event will contribute to scholarships for first-year students from The Preuss School UCSD—a preparatory school for low-income students who exhibit academic potential—who are attending Thurgood Marshall College at UC San Diego.

Cost: General admission $50; Students $10; Faculty and staff free.

Location: UC San Diego, Conrad Prebys Concert Hall, 9500 Gilman Drive, La Jolla, CA Google Map
