Every year the island of Coronado offers an array of Independence Day events for the whole family. Coronado makes sure that there is always something to do to celebrate the Fourth of July.
Coronado Independence Day Celebration Schedule of Events:
5:00AM - Wake up & get your spot along Orange Ave for the parade. You can't set up before 5am! Tip, you can also take the ferry over from downtown San Diego to Coronado. The traffic is going to be heavy, so plan on walking or biking.
7:00AM – 38th Annual Independence Day 15K Run-5K Run/Walk Tidelands Park (Registration at 5:30AM) For more information call 619-298-7400
8:00AM – 4:00PM – Art in the Park Spreckels Park
10:00AM – 65th Annual Independence Day Parade 2013 Theme “America the Beautiful” Location: Orange Ave from 1st Street to Churchill Place Google Maps
2:30PM – 4:00PM –Adrian Empire Demo in Spreckels Park. Recreation of Western European culture between the years 1066-1603. San Diego Star Wars Society in Spreckels Park - Will be Available for Photos. (Google Maps)
4:00PM – Concert in the Park at Spreckels Park Music by: Coronado Community Concert Band
