San Diego Fringe Festival: 'My Brooklyn Hamlet: A Meshugenah True Story'

The San Diego Fringe Festival presents artists from across the United States and around the world participate alongside home-grown talent in street performing, cabaret, comedy, circus, dance, film, poetry, spoken word, theatre, puppetry, music, visual art, design, and anything else. The festival will be July 1-7, 2013.

Written and performed by Brenda Adelman. Solo show based on Adelman's life growing up in Brooklyn with a Jewish 'wanna be' Italian father & a bohemian artist mom. Big laughs. Then in 1995 her father shot and killed her mother and married her aunt. Peppered with soliloquies from "Hamlet," "My Brooklyn Hamlet" is ultimately about the power of forgiveness.

Presented at 10th Avenue Theatre Cabaret space.
