July 8-12, 1pm-4pm
This Camp for grades 1-2 features Ikebana (flower arrangement), Suisai-ga (water-color painting), Sushi making, candy sushi making, Go (classic board game), Koi biology, Koi Mask making, Karate lesson, portraits in Japanese Yukata (cotton kimono), Japanese Anime class, fun games, Japanese craft making and the Garden tour.
$100 for members, $110 for non-members. The Garden welcomes children with special needs. If you have any questions, please call 619-232-2721 X105.
Scholarships for Summer Camp are available to students based on financial need. Other restrictions may apply. For more information on scholarship availability, please call 619-232-2721 ext. 105. Scholarships are made possible thanks to generous donation from The Japan Foundation Center for Global Partnership.
If you cancel your registration within 10 days of the camp your payment is non-refundable. If you cancel prior to this period you will be charged a $25.00 cancellation fee. In the event that minimum enrollment is not met, the Garden reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the camp. If this occurs, your tuition will be refunded in full.
