A Pulitzer Prize-winning dark comedy that tells the story of the three Magrath sisters, raised in a dysfunctional family, and each surviving her share of hardship and misery.

The trio re-unites after a specific incident and is forced to deal with assorted relatives and past relationships while facing the consequences of their individual "Crimes of the Heart".
