Come to The Belly Up on March 17th, 2013 starting at 9pm for the live performance of Emancipator featuring Little People and ODESZA! Doors will open at 8pm.

About Emancipator
To some, it must seem like this young electronic producer came out of nowhere this year, but those in the know have been following Emancipator since he self-released his first album "Soon It Will Be Cold Enough" in 2006 at age 19.

His agile melodies layered over headnodic, immaculately-produced beats captivated fans across the internet and across the world.

"Soon It Will Be Cold Enough" was picked up by Japanese super-producer Nujabes, pressed in Japan and sold 5,000 copies in the first six months. Emancipator landed a Puma sponsorship, gave an interview to Rolling Stone Japan, and even had his song Maps played at the Bejing Olympics.

About ODESZA
"ODESZA's...'IPlayYouListen'...fits firmly in the goopy electro-camp of acts like Purity Ring and Chvrches, where ebullient production floats on a stormy, synthy sea, where bright notes reflect even brighter off the water" - The FADER

Seattle-based production duo ODESZA, made up of Harrison Mills (Catacombkid) and Clayton Knight (BeachesBeaches), are excited to share their first official video for "IPlayYouListen," which was premiered by The FADER. One of the many standout tracks from their excellent debut, Summer's Gone, "IPlayYouListen" is a perfect representation of what ODESZA does best, combining glitchy electronics with lush melodies and dulcet vocal samples.

In the "IPlayYouListen" video (watch it below), director Diego Contreras captures Christmas in Guatemala when families set off "cuetes," Spanish slang for firecrackers, as soon as midnight hits. The cuetes create a beautiful symphony of sound and color that pairs well with ODESZA's dreamy, colorful and unique productions. In addition to their first ever US tour beginning next month, ODESZA will perform at the 2013 Sasquatch Music Festival in May.
