Join instructor Peggy Caballero in Textile Dyed With Flowers at Bravo School of Art on Monday, March 25th from 6 - 9pm.
Learn to dye 100% cotton fabric using the pigment of fresh flowers! Lay the flowers on a pounding board in your own skillful design and smash them with a mallet until the pigment is transferred to the cotton. Great fun and the perfect way to unload some pent up frustrations!! Embellish with a Pigma pen.
Also learn how to cut a stencil and do some advanced botanical transfers using the same method. Your creations may be incorporated into any project where fabric is needed; quilting, book binding, clothing, etc.
