Symposium: Piranesi, Rome, And The Arts Of Design

Scholars from around the country will offer their insights to contextualize the culture, time period, and artistic concerns of Giovanni Battista Piranesi.

Speakers Include: Christopher M.S. Johns, Norman L. and Roselea J. Golberg, Professor and Chair of the Department of History of Art, Vanderbilt University; John Pinto, Howard Crosby Butler Memorial Professor of Art and Archaeology, Princeton University; and Jeffrey L. Collins, Professor and Chair of Academic Programs, Bard Graduate Center; and will be moderated by Dr. John Marciari, Curator of European Art.

This symposium can be chose as part of the Museum Experience Class.

Cost: $10 members, students, military, and seniors/$15 nonmembers

Date: March 30th from 9:00 a.m. Coffee and pastries | 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Presentations
