The Aventine, home to Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, Truluck’s, The Melting Pot and Cafe Japengo, will celebrate Easter Sunday with an array of brunch and dinner options for guests to enjoy. The restaurants have crafted prix fixe and a la carte holiday menus that celebrate the tastes of the season.
Easter Sunday brunch and dinner menus include:
-Truluck’s Seafood, Steak & Crab House: Truluck’s at Aventine La Jolla, recognized for its consistently award-winning seafood, will open its doors for Easter dinner on Sunday, March 31 from 5 to 9 p.m. Truluck’s will offer a full range of favorite dishes, including King Shrimp and Crab Grits, Fresh Florida Stone Crab Claw Platter, Maine Lobster and additional surf and turf options. -Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar: Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar at Aventine La Jolla will open early for a special three-course prix fixe Easter brunch on Sunday, March 31 from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Priced at $36.95 per adult and $17.95 per child, highlights will include Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict with Wild Arugula, Egg Strata with Chevre Cheese and Slow-Roasted Filet and White Chocolate Bread Pudding, among other choices. Fleming’s will also serve Easter dinner between 5 and 10 p.m. Those dining at Fleming’s on Easter Sunday will receive a $25 dining card valid for a future visit. For reservations, call the restaurant directly at (858) 535-0078.
-The Melting Pot: The Melting Pot at Aventine will open early on Sunday, March 31 for a fondue-style prix fixe Easter brunch served between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. This four-course meal is priced at $39.95 per person and will include choices of starter fondue, salad, entrée and a chocolate fondue for dessert. Easter-themed dishes include the Champagne Swiss and Baby Shrimp Cheese Fondue and Chocolate Easter Egg Chocolate Fondue.
The Melting Pot will also remain open between 4 and 9 p.m. for Easter dinner. Guests joining during these evening hours will be able to order the Easter prix fixe menu, as well as The Melting Pot’s range of regularly offered cuisine. For reservations, call The Melting Pot at (858) 638-1700.
-Cafe Japengo: Cafe Japengo will be open on Easter Sunday between 5 and 9:30 p.m. and will offer guests their choice of the restaurant’s award-winning sushi and Pacific Rim cuisine menus, including Kurubota Braised Pork Belly and Kona Spiced Seared Ahi.
