The Wind Symphony (conducted by Shannon Kitelinger) is an outstanding ensemble which performs some of the finest, most challenging and rewarding literature available. An average semester for this group includes two or more formal concerts on campus, one to two off-campus performances, and each spring semester the ensemble goes on a five day concert and clinic tour.
Although this group is comprised largely of music majors, membership in the Wind Symphony is open to any competent and motivated wind or percussion player; current SDSU student or not.
