These Runs and walks need to be discontinued. It cost the 1.5 million taxpayers huge amounts of money for police, safety ,commerce, traffic control, medical folks and so on. These runs have increased greatly and almost every weekend there are roads and sections of the city that are closed for automobile traffic therefore limiting the options for families to enjoy their weekends and limits them from where they want to go picnic or travel to their destinations of leisure.

These runs are usually for politically social organizations who are promoting socialist agendas. Runs for the Whales, Runs for abortions, runs for who the heck knows. All I know is that life was much better in this city when there wasn't any foolish walks and runs at taxpayers expense.
I realize that basically the people who participate in these foolish runs simply do not have any money to do anything else like travel, vacation or other venues that cost money. Want to ? then take it to the desert .Don't shut down the city's best PLACES.
