Irish Chamber Orchestra With Sir James Galway

For one night only, enjoy The Irish Chamber Orchestra, the premiere chamber ensemble of Ireland, accompanying the world's premiere advocate and performer of the flute, Sir James Galway.

Sir James will delight our Symphony Hall audience with a beautiful flute concerto from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Carolan Variations, a new work written especially for Sir James and his wife, Lady Jeanne Galway, based on 18th century Irish melodies.

The concert, led by rising Buffalo Philharmonic conductor JoAnn Falletta, will concluding with a performance of Felix Mendelssohn's rousing and atmospheric Scottish Symphony.

San Diego Symphony does not appear on this special performance.
