"A Moral Earthquake" tells the story of the San Diego women who worked to get California women the right to vote in 1911. California women earned the right to vote nine years before the passage of the 19th Amendment to the Constitution of the United States in 1920 which codified the right of women to vote in every state in the country and advanced the long struggle for women's liberation.
