I work in a variety of media. Most of my studio-based work involves line, including wire and fiber. Public art on the other hand can be wire and steel rod, but can also involve concrete, terrazzo, resin, wood, plant materials, etc. - whatever is required by the site.
My artwork process is: Process. Simple as that, at least as far as my studio work goes - which is to say that the work develops for the most part as an exchange between maker and material and environment. The work may begin with a simple premise, but through process it evolves into its final form. Public art is another matter, and it depends on what the project requires.
