Avoid legal pitfalls and get your managers up to speed with a half-day course on California employment law as it pertains to managers. This course is intended for anyone who manages large or small groups of individuals and does not have a human resources background. Managers will leave this course with an understanding of the basic tenets of California employment law in areas that matter to managers: California laws that apply to your organization, the use of confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements to protect company trade secret information, privacy issues, immigration laws and things managers can and cannot say to employees. Topics will include privacy rights, employee’s rights and duties, proprietary information, multicultural issues and immigration law.
