About Rock Easy Diaper Company: REDC has been serving the San Diego area since 2009, providing cloth diapers and related supplies to parents looking for a more natural approach to diapering their child. The owner, Rachel, is active in the community through the San Diego Real Diaper Circle, hosting monthly classes at Java Mama and consultations in her home boutique. This will be REDC's first Great Cloth Diaper Change as an organizer. REDC has been a vendor (and participant) at the San Diego USD location for the previous 3 events.

About The Great Cloth Diaper Change: In its fourth year, The Great Cloth Diaper Change is an international initiative organized with the help of the nonprofit Real Diaper Association designed to show the world that cloth diapers are a real option for today’s families. The brainchild of Judy Aagard of Tiny Tots in California, Aagard says she came up with the idea in an effort to host a family event celebrating Earth Day. The Great Cloth Diaper Change has morphed into an exciting Guinness World Record™ breaking event, and in 2013, more than 8,301 babies were changed at one time. For more information visit www.GreatClothDiaperChange.com. The Great Cloth Diaper Change can also be followed on Facebook at http://www.Facebook.com/GreatClothDiaperChange, and on Twitter at www.Twitter.com/ClothRecord.

This event is part of a larger (and growing) movement to change the way parents think about diapering their babies. Participants may contribute $1 (or more) at any of the North American local events. The money will assist the 501(c)(3) nonprofit Real Diaper Association in their efforts to help families across the U.S. and Canada find and use reusable cloth diapers.

[1] Note: The total number of participants in 2013 was 10,029, which marked our highest number yet, of individuals joining together to raise cloth diaper awareness in their local communities and around the world, but not all qualified for the record due to Guinness’s policy requiring a minimum of 25 babies changed per site in order to qualify.
