While many love it, most of us would be hard pressed to pick the perfect meal pairing, spot those subtle flavors and notes or even decipher the difference between a Malbec and Merlot.
There’s a little something for every wine lover at the San Diego International Wine Show – whether you’re a sophisticated wine connoisseur or a novice who enjoys a glass with dinner.
This year, San Diego’s only two-day wine show has expanded to include, for the first-time, international varieties – great wines from California, as well as France, Italy, Spain, and South America, including Baja. Attendees can savor wonderful whites and refreshing reds, while schmoozing with sommeliers about all things wining and dining.
The benefits of the event merely begin with a glass of wine. Guests can also soak up the Southern California sun while being serenaded with live music, and take in a creative cooking demo and enjoy scrumptious samples from famed local chefs and food enthusiasts.
Strolling the Paddock and perusing a bountiful buffet of cigars, olive oils, cheeses, chocolates and other irresistible gourmet items are one more reason that the San Diego International Wine Show is a stand-out from other wine events.
It might not be horse racing season in April, but you can place your money on uncorking some fun and delicious treats at the San Diego International Wine Show. With the amount of fanfare and fun in store, it’s a safe bet.
The cost is $55.00 per ticket pre-sale and $65.00 per ticket at the door. A two day ticket can be purchased for $80.00.
Show hours are Saturday 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday, 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit
