PINK FROYD IS:
TOM QUINN: Project leader, passionate guitarist, and fearless ambassador of all things Pink Floyd. For the past 14 years, Tom has also been the leader of the San Diego classic rock group and perennial favorite, Street Heart. Tom, originally from Illinois, has played professionally since 1973 throughout the Western United States, Canada, and Japan.
JOE MARNANE: Joe started playing drums for a local San Diego band while in high school. He fell in love with the amazing music of Pink Floyd at that time. Playing off and on with different bands through the early '90s, Joe took a hiatus from playing music for a few years until he met Tom and the rest of the Froydians at Pink Froyd's second show. A few years later he began playing percussion for them, and in January of 2000, he played his first show as the drummer of Pink Froyd. AKA "The Kid", Joe has studied and emulated every drum beat Nick Mason has recorded on Floyd albums.
GUS BEAUDOIN: San Diego native who has played bass for 34 years in San Diego clubs. He previously studied with bass player extraordinaire, Tim Bogart and is actively engaged in local session and jingle work. His expertise lead him to exciting road work, with his casino show group, from Atlantic City to Las Vegas, Reno, Lake Tahoe, and Canada.
JOHN COX has been playing keyboards since age 9, and is self-taught. In 1976 he bought a Moog synthesizer and formed the space music group Embryo with synthesist Steve Roach and was hooked on creating atmospheres and textures with sound. John cites Jan Hammer, Beethoven, Carl Stalling, and Frank Zappa as his major influences. He has also played keys in the YES tribute band Roundabout, and the Jethro Tull tribute Heavy Horses. John resides in San Diego, California, and in his spare time he loves to ride his GSX-R and Supermoto bikes at track days with his two sons.
JESSE MOLLOY, saxophone player based out of San Diego is a dynamic complement to the PFX sound. Jesse tours nationally with his group, On The One, which is lead by Jesse and PFX drummer John Staten. Jesse has toured internationally with several acts, including the Giant People Ensemble, and the Jamaican National Orchestra. Molloy has shared stages with many including Karl Denson and the Wailers. He has studied under the great Charles McPherson and Rhett Bender.
HOWARD PATTOW: Based out of Los Angeles, multi-instrumentalist/vocalist Howard has produced and performed with several tribute-oriented productions, portraying many diverse characters from rock royalty and some of pop cultures greatest legends. Howard started playing guitar around the age of 12, followed by drums, bass, keyboards and various percussion. Howard is also a big fan of James Taylor, Carole King, Cat Stevens and Simon & Garfunkel. Performing the legendary music of Pink Floyd is a unique opportunity to which Howard brings an encyclopedic knowledge of the music and history.
