The Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) and the Wireless-Life Sciences Alliance (WLSA) announced a partnership to explore the intersection between digital health and biotechnology through the inaugural Digital Health Zone and Forum at the 2014 BIO International Convention®. This year’s event will be held June 23-26, 2014 at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California.
Companies featured in the Digital Health Zone are focused on delivering cost effective, high quality medicine in a more personalized and precise manner. Zone participants will have dedicated exhibit space and participate in BIO’s One-on-One Partnering™ system.
The Digital Health Forum, June 24 and June 25, will explore the innovation crossover between biotech, wireless technology and translational medicine.
Forum co-chairs Wainwright Fishburn, Partner, Cooley, LLP and Board Member, WLSA; Ryan Sysko, CEO, Welldoc and Andrew Thompson, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Proteus Digital Health as well as industry thought leaders, innovators and stakeholders will discuss the latest developments in digital health and how this will impact the future of the healthcare industry.
