THIS EVENT IS IN THE PAST!
This exhibition showcases the thesis work of Samantha O'Brien ’14. Focusing on the ecology of the San Diego-Tijuana border, "Dissolving Borders" proposes to restore the Tijuana estuary's southern wetlands and to gain public awareness of the habitat.
Comprised of a series of architectural interventions located throughout the rehabilitated estuary, this project is about visibility, exploring the way architecture can both obscure and expose the world around us, as well as create social and ecological awareness.
Exhibition Dates: Monday, September 29, 2014 – Friday, October 3, 2014
Gallery Hours: 9am - 5pm
Location: University of San Diego - Sacred Heart Hall Visual Arts Center, Room 102 5998 Alcalá Park, San Diego, CA 92110 Google Map
