Allie Manch: Embroidery Workshops

San Diego Art Institute artist-in-residence Allie Manch will have a series of embroidery workshops open to all ages.

Family Embroidery Workshop: Noon to 2 p.m. on April 22 (Open to all ages, embroidery projects best for ages 4+ (parents must attend with children) $10 per family.

We will explore basic embroidery stitches in this workshop designed for the whole family. Participants will be able to take home small fabric samplers and younger children can work on learning the foundation of embroidery stitches with illustrated lacing cards. Materials will be provided and no experience necessary. Parents, join in the fun too and make your own fabric samplers.

Stitching Circle: Noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 13. (Open to all ages, free drop-in.)

Bring your own project or start a new one at this stitching circle open to all. Come for community or to learn a new skill. Hot chocolate, materials, and good vibes will be provided and no previous experience necessary.
