Longtime San Diego musician Cindy Lee Berryhill returns to The Casbah for the release of her first record in 10 years, "The Adventurist."

She stepped away from the music scene to care for her husband, rock journalist Paul Williams, who died in 2013 after suffering a traumatic brain injury.

This album reveals some of Berryhill's struggles - from dealing with loss to becoming a single mother.

The folk singer has recently become popular on the internet thanks to her song, "Trump," which was released in 1989.

Syd Straw and Nena Anderson open the show. For additional details call (619) 232-4355.
