  • AGES All ages
  • COST Free

On Sunday, November 12, from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., join San Diego Audubon as we remove invasive plants from North Fiesta Island to protect native sand dune plants and restore nesting habitat of the endangered California least tern.

The meeting location will be on the northern edge of Fiesta Island in Mission Bay.

Wear long pants, sturdy shoes, and sun protection. Tools and water will be provided. Bring a reusable water bottle for refills. There are a lot of thorny plants at this site, so try to avoid wearing work out shoes (hiking boots work better).

For questions, RSVPs, or directions contact our Restoration Program Manager, Megan Flaherty, at flaherty@sandiegoaudubon.org or (858)273-7800 x 106.

Dates and times of events are subject to change without notice. Always check the event organizer's website for the most updated schedule before attending.
