Explore the life of Edith Tudor-Hart, the British-Austrian Spy who enlisted Kim Philby to spy for the Soviets during WWII.

Edith was the director’s aunt who was born in 1908 in Vienna and died in 1973 in Brighton, U.K. She was a renowned photographer, a socially engaged and politically aware woman, and a Russian spy. Furthermore, she was not just a spy, but a true believer in Communism who betrayed her country for free.

Jungk exposes the dark roots of his family tree in this fearless documentary.

Awards: Gershon-Klein prize for Best Documentary, Jewish Film Festival Berlin & Brandenburg 2017
