Gilbert Castellanos & Arlene Damasco present Art Meets Jazz, a unique jazz series featuring salutes to the greatest legends of jazz: Dizzy Gillespie, Charlie Parker, Sarah Vaughan, Clifford Brown, and on Jan. 6, legendary pianist, arranger and composer Horace Silver!

Southern California artists who capture the vibrant San Diego jazz scene utilizing various mediums - photography, watercolor, charcoal, pastels, sketch, and more - will showcase their original work each night.

This series merges music and art to highlight multiple-perspectives, and the talented musicians, that create the heartbeat of jazz in Americas Finest City. This is the largest pop-up exhibit of jazz-inspired artwork assembled to-date in Southern California!

Saturday, Jan. 6, 6 - 10 p.m.
6 p.m. - Doors & Art Meets Jazz Pop-Up Exhibit at Bread & Salt Opens. Food & Beverages available for purchase.
8 p.m. - Musical Tribute to Horace Silver Begins.
