Africa and Beyond has the honor of carrying this superb collection of African art from the late James Schmidt. Collected over his life time, master blacksmith James Schmidt appreciated the African aesthetic of weapons, masks, and figurative sculpture.
This collection is on view through 2012 at the Africa and Beyond gallery in the heart of downtown La Jolla. Open daily 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and also by appointment.
