SoLo in Solana Beach is once again presenting a Day of the Dead exhibit by local merchant Ruby Lang. This years altar "Alimento para el Alma" or "Food for the Soul," reminds us that as we nourish our bodies so must we nourish our souls with traditions, memorials, customs and celebrations. The traditional Mexican ofrenda consists of fresh flowers, fruit, skeletons, candles, sugar skulls and vintage religious items.

Special reception October 24th, 5:30pm. The altar will be up through November 2nd.

To visit SoLo, exit Lomas Santa Fe off the I-5. Head west towards to the ocean. Turn left onto Cedros Ave. SoLo is on the ocean side of the street.

Hours are 10am to 6pm daily, and 11am to 5pm on Sundays.
