The best place to bring your guests this holiday season is the Maritime Museum of San Diego!
Any San Diegan presenting an ID with a San Diego County zip code from November 17 through December 25 gets free admission if they bring a guest with them who presents an ID with an out of town zip code and pays full price admission. No coupons or passes accepted.
We know the locals cherish our beloved Star of India and we know the tourists do as well. What better way to spend time with your guests than down on the waterfront on one of San Diego’s icons or exploring one of the submarines?
Also, during the Thanksgiving week November 17-25 and December 14-31 the museum will have Sailor Days for the kids. Knot tying, sail raising, scavenger hunts and prizes are all included with a child’s admission. For just $5 more, guests can take a 45 minute historic bay cruise on San Diego Bay about the 1914 Pilot boat.
The museum is open everyday including holidays from 9am-8pm.
The museum is located on the embarcadero in downtown San Diego at 1492 North Harbor Drive, San Diego, CA 92101. Google Map
