Common Ground Theatre (CGT) will present "Nativity: A Soulful Celebration" from December 1st-16th, 2012. "Nativity" is a new adaptation of Langston Hughes’ play, “Black Nativity.” “Nativity: A Soulful Celebration” is a stirring musical adapted and directed by Charles Patmon, Jr. The play uses narration, dance, spirituals, and gospel music to re-tell the story of Christmas. Louise Pearson, renowned music professor and choir director, is the musical director.
Performances will be 8:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 2:00 p.m. on Sundays.
