UC San Diego Tours Highlight Campus History, Art and Architecture. Local residents, San Diego visitors and the general public are invited to discover UC San Diego with a free campus tour provided by the UC San Diego Visitors Tour Program.
Visitors may choose from two types of ongoing tours:
-Walking Tours:Take a leisurely stroll through the heart of campus for an up-close look at UC San Diego’s award-winning architecture and one-of-a-kind art pieces, including Geisel Library and the “Sun God.” Walking tours are offered the first Sunday of the month.
-Bus Tours: Enjoy a scenic ride for a general overview of the campus with stops at major UC San Diego landmarks. Sights include the Jacobs School of Engineering, UC San Diego Moores Cancer Center, Birch Aquarium and Geisel Library. Bus tours are available the remaining Sundays of the month.
Tours are ongoing but not held during holiday weekends. Check the website for exact dates.
