In part two of Beginning the Memoir, we’ll focus on reading and critiquing other students’ work with detailed feedback from the instructor about each student’s writing with Thomas Larson. We will also study Patricia Hampl’s "The Florist’s Daughter" and discover how she structures her book by using strategies of narrative, descriptive, and expository writing. Please read Chapter 1 before our first class.
