In its 68th year, the 2013 Del Mar National Horse Show runs Thursday, April 18, through Sunday, May 5, at the Del Mar Fairgrounds Arena.
In 2012, the Del Mar National Horse Show was selected as one of only four venues in North America to host the U.S. Show Jumping Team Observation Events for the 2012 Olympics in London, England. Top riders from across the nation vied for a chance to represent the U. S. as they competed at the Fairgrounds.
NOW in 2013 during Hunter/Jumper Week of the Del Mar National Horse Show, these riders and many more will compete for more than $200,000 in prize money. The $25,000 Surfside Grand Prix presented by iJump Sports Magazine is Thursday, May 2 at 7:00pm; the $100,000 Grand Prix of Del Mar is Saturday, May 4 at 6:45pm.

Western Week April 18-21:
The highlight of Western Week is the Night of the Horse, Saturday, April 20, at 7:00PM. This year's theme is The Wild West with returning favorites Tommie Turvey and the One-Arm Bandit! This is a wonderful themed evening with amazing equestrian acts and is sure to please the whole family. Immediately after the Night of the Horse stay for a free concert featuring country music's, Herrick.
Dressage Week April 25-28:
Dressage Week includes qualifying competitions for the USEF National Grand Prix and Intermédiaire Championships; Adequan FEI North American Junior and Young Riders' Championships; USEF National Pony Rider Championships; Massey Ferguson/USEF National Junior and Young Rider Championships; USEF Brentina Cup Championships and Markel/USEF Young Horse Championships; USEF National Developing Horse Prix St. Georges Championships; and the USEF National Developing Grand Prix Championships as well as the Evening of Musical Freestyles dressage competition on April 27.
Hunter/Jumper Week April 30-May 5
Features the $100,000 Grand Prix of Del Mar, an evening filled with exciting speed, agility and nail-biting competition! Rich Fellers, last year's Grand Prix winner, rode his 16-year-old super stallion, Flexible, to become the first American to take the coveted 2012 Rolex/FEI World Cup. Also join us for the extraordinary Hunter/Jumper Featured Events.
