The Veterans Museum and Memorial Center presents "Japanese Americans in the Military," in collaboration with the Japanese American Historical Society of San Diego. Drawing on photographs and artifacts, this exhibit highlights the military service of Japanese-Americans from 1900 through the Gulf Wars with special attention given to WWII and the role of internment camps.

Programs at the museum that accompany the exhibition include a special screening of "Only the Brave," the WWII drama about the All-Nisei 100/442 Regimental Combat Team. Filmmaker Lane Nishikawa will be on hand to introduce and to discuss his film, January 17, 2010 from 3-5 pm.
A Day of Remembrance program February 19, 2010 from 6-8pm
