Lamb's Players Theatre presents the San Diego premiere of "Shadowlands", a play about the romance between author C.S. Lewis and poet Joy Davidman.

While a great many people in Britain and America wanted to get inside the brain of C.S. Lewis, the popular Oxford professor and author of "The Chronicles of Narnia," very few touched his heart.

This award-winning play by William Nicholson celebrates the late-life romance between Lewis and the quick-witted American poet. This piece was adapted into a film starring Anthony Hopkins and Debra Winger.

"Shadowlands" runs Feb. 28 through April 9. For additional details call (619) 495-3066 or visit Lamb's Players Theatre.

Dessert & Dialogue:

On Sunday, March 5 , join actors Robert & Deborah Smyth, director Kerry Meads, and Lewis scholar Dr. Jay Pope for a deeper look into "Shadowlands" including its Oxford setting, and central characters C.S. Lewis & Joy Davidman. Tickets are $20 and includes dessert.

Dates and times of events are subject to change without notice. Always check the event organizer's website for the most updated schedule before attending.
