San Diego Musical Theatre 'Cuts Loose' With 'Footloose'

Need a fun night out at the theatre for the entire family? Award-winning San Diego Musical Theatre (SDMT) invites you to “CUT LOOSE” with the high-spirited musical “Footloose,” directed and choreographed by Robert Marra with musical direction by Don LeMaster at the Birch North Park Theatre, September 28-October 14, 2012!

Friday September 28 is a preview performance, Saturday September 29 is the official Opening/Media Night performance. “Footloose” runs until Sunday October 14.

Based on the original screenplay by Dean Pitchford, “Footloose” was adapted for the stage by Dean Pitchford and Walter Bobbie. The show's music was written by Tom Snow with lyrics by Dean Pitchford. Additional music for “Footloose” was written by Eric Carmen, Sammy Hagar, Kenny Loggins and Jim Steinman.

Performance Dates:
September 28 & 29, October 5, 6, 12 & 13 at 8 p.m.
September 30, October 6, 7 & 14 at 2 p.m
October 4 & 11 at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets: Discounts available for seniors (65+), active military, and students. Equity and Actors Alliance receive up to 2 tickets at half price with Equity or Actors Alliance card (not available online). Prices range from $13-$52.
