The Athenaeum has three exhibits on display from Nov. 11 through Dec. 30.

Mark Licari’s series “Awaken to Zero” will be exhibited in the Athenaeum’s Clayes Gallery. “Awaken to Zero” is a set of twenty-six drawings. Each drawing represents a letter of the alphabet with a corresponding descriptive word.

In the Rotunda Gallery, San Diego artist and architect Carolyn LaFrance will exhibit “Urban Perch,” a recent series of prints inspired by nature and the wildlife she encounters every day in her garden and surroundings. Carolyn’s work has been exhibited at Bay Park Press, and the Athenaeum, among other institutions.

LA/LA project inspired selections from the Athenaeum’s artists’ books collection will be displayed in the North Reading Room.
