Background on Planned Giving

During a formal organization strategic planning process several years ago, we recognized the need to amplify these gift-planning opportunities for our KPBS supporters. Based on a member lifetime value study, we ascertained that some members' first gift was the start of a sincere relationship. Each subsequent gift was a further expression of affinity developing over time. We felt that implementing a "Planned Gift Program" would be the crowning component to promote and maintain this relationship.

Our objective was to become a resource for information that would educate and foster the growth of KPBS members who wish to make larger gifts through estate and charitable gift planning methods. With this goal in mind, we established the KPBS Friend for Life Group to encourage the creation of endowment funds through tax-advantaged gifts for those members that choose to form a lasting bond with KPBS.

We designed, developed and implemented a comprehensive "Planned Giving Program" to assist our members in charitable estate and gift planning. We offer knowledgeable advice and will work with you and your professional advisors to design a plan that is advantageous to you. We can provide you at no obligation, brochures on gift planning opportunities and personalized illustrations outlining a variety of tax-saving benefits.

You may be able to increase the income from your property and/or arrange for management of specific assets. At the same time, income, estate, and gift taxes may be avoided or minimized ----- all while completing the charitable gift you wish to make. Any conversation would be strictly confidential. We'd be happy to help.
