We honor all planned gifts on our Friends For Life donor wall, in the KPBS studio. If you would like, we can use this space to honor someone important in your life. Examples of tributes include:

• "In tribute to the Jones family"
• "To my father, Mark Myers"

Tribute Underwriting
Depending on the size of your planned gift, we can develop underwriting opportunities in which we pay tribute to people on air, either on television or radio. You may consider underwriting a particular program or type of program on behalf of a friend or loved one. You can provide general support for different programming areas, such as classical music or performing arts. Again, we can work with you on how you can best pay tribute to people who have made a difference in your life.

Naming Opportunities
If you would like to pay tribute to a devotee of public radio or television, we have a variety of naming opportunities in the studio. These opportunities are reserved for individuals and organizations who have made a significant contribution to the KPBS facilities. We can work with you on honoring loved ones within the station, through special naming opportunities.

A Lasting Legacy
The majority of your gift will be contributed to the KPBS endowment. KPBS endowment funds are invested and managed by San Diego State University Research Foundation, and only earnings generated by the endowment are used to support KPBS' programs and operations. This guarantees that your tribute gift will truly last for generations to come.
