CA Senator Feinstein meets with Supreme Court nominee Alito

Democratic California Senator Dianne Feinstein met with U.S. Supreme Court nominee Judge Samuel Alito Tuesday. Feinstein's the first member of the Senate Judiciary Committee to meet with Alito since the release of his 1985 application to the Reagan Justice Department. Saldana and Simmons argue merits of Bajagua proposal

Assemblywoman Lori Saldana and retired law professor Robert Simmons debated the merits of the proposed Bajagua border sewage treatment plant Tuesday. The San Diego Bar Association sponsored the event for a group of environmental attorneys. KPBS reporter Amy Isackson has more.

Fiscal crisis- investigators ask city council for more money
