The Squid and the Whale

The Squid and the Whale (opening October 28 at Landmark's Hillcrest Cinemas) may not have a title that immediately ignites enthusiasm on the part of potential filmgoers. But its portrait of how divorce affects a family has been winning enthusiastic acclaim, including a pair of awards at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year.
